When the DJ set becomes a stage

& THE ROYALS is Clarice’s format with live vocals: two voices join the DJ set. Elena Fatunz and Björn Missal sing live over the tracks – restrained during the reception, full-on once the dancefloor fills. The evening keeps its flow but gains moments that can only happen live.

Elena Fatunz is a Berlin singer at home in jazz, pop and soul. She has worked as a studio vocalist for Michelle Hunziker, Jeanette Biedermann and Dirk Michaelis, sung backing vocals alongside Katy Perry, Lena Meyer-Landrut and Semino Rossi, and performed at the opening of Berlin’s Waldorf Astoria.

Björn Missal studied jazz vocals at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music and teaches jazz and pop singing at the Berlin University of the Arts. He sings standards in the Frank Sinatra tradition as readily as pop and soul, was a member of the German Federal Youth Jazz Orchestra, and performs at the Berlin State Opera’s chanson evenings.
